Update Sync Functionality
Galooli Manager's tools/modules have an "Update Sync Functionality" mechanism that prevents situations where one user's edit overrides another user's edit (when both users edit the same object or unit at the same time).
All of the following modules in Galooli Manager Application will be affected by this mechanism:
My Assets
My Calibrations
My Contacts
My Geofences
My Units
My Users
The mechanism will check every five seconds all of the modules to see if the time since the last update is greater than or equal to the time taken to load the object in the browser. If so, the save button will be deactivated.
Furthermore, there is an extreme case in which the button has not yet been neutralized (within the five seconds between tests) and the user clicks the save button before it has been neutralized. The following pop-up will appear in such a situation:
For “My Units” Menu Only:
If an update request is in progress the save button will be disabled with a message that states: "Update in progress, please try again later"
The end case where the button has not been neutralized yet (within the five-second interval between tests) and the user clicks the save button has also been considered. The following pop-up will appear in such a situation:
As long as a request is being executed (active request) or if the last update time exceeds the object loading time, the “Copy Settings” button will be disabled both at the unit and organization levels.
Additionally, a message will appear on the user's screen in addition to disabling the save button
