Galooli Automations Tool

This feature is available only to organizations with a Gold license.

The My Automations solution allows users to automate workflows by writing code that will be applied on their assets, and perform actions customized to their needs.

Using My Automations, the user can obtain accurate live and summary data and create different actions on a schedule or on an immediate basis, for example:

Send an automated SMS/Email
Send a command to a specified unit
Set one or more values to the unit's properties

Furthermore, several functions support the creation of more complex automations, and enable the user to:

Create a variable that will be used in future executions
Retrieve a value of a variable saved in a previous execution
Log a message in runtime

The automation solution screen includes:

Automations Table - Enables to the use to see all the automations created by the user, edit existing automations and creating new ones.
Automations Log - includes data about the executions of a selected automation, and enables a detailed review of a specific execution (for debugging). In addition, a full report about the executions of all the user's automation can be sent to the user's email.

Restrictions

Units under the "Stock" cluster will not be included in the automation process.
It is possible to select up to 500 characters in the Asset field
In the case of summary fields/keys, the mechanism will return only the summary values for the previous day, according to the time definition defined at the organization level and/or at the cluster level.
An example:
- An organization GMT offset is -2
- The time in UTC is 7th of April, 2024 01:01
- Time of Organization: The 6th of April, 2024 23:00
  The mechanism will return the summary values for the day prior to the organization time, i.e. 5th of April, 2024.
- If the cluster on which the automation is performed has a different time offset from the organization, the mechanism will be calculated in accordance with the cluster's time offset.

Warning: Safety Hazard - Automatic Activation of Equipment

Automatic activation of equipment poses an extremely serious safety hazard. Although Galooli enables remote equipment activation, it is crucial that all personnel and sub-contractors, both with direct and indirect access to equipment, whether conducting site maintenance or has any other interaction with the equipment, shall be informed and be fully aware of the potential risks and consequences associated with automatic activation, and shall implement any necessary and/or required precautions. Galooli hereby unconditionally waives, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, any and all liability for any resulting damage, injury or loss whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, to any person or equipment. In order to establish and maintain a safe working environment, Galooli strongly recommends adhering to the following safety guidelines when working with equipment capable of automatic activation: (1) Always operate under the assumption that equipment may be automatically activated, regardless of its current state; (2) Before commencing any work, ensure that all energy sources to the equipment are securely locked out and tagged out; (3) Employ both physical and digital warning measures, such as barriers and prominently displayed signs, to alert others to ongoing maintenance activities; and (4) It is highly advised to disable the automatic equipment function before undertaking maintenance, inspections, or any other activities involving physical access to the equipment.
