Availability and Limitations
Defaulted Applications
Once a user has successfully logged into the system, the system checks which application the user used last, and then navigates the user to that application if he or she still has access to it.
According to the user's permissions, the defaulted application will appear upon completion of the login process in accordance with the following hierarchy:
The Panorama application will be displayed if "Live Display Access" is not disabled.
The Manager application will be displayed if at least one tool of the Galooli Manager is enabled.
The Pro application will be displayed if it has not been disabled.
The NOC application will be displayed if it has not been disabled.
The Apps application will be displayed if at least one tool of the Galooli Apps is enabled.
If a user does not have permissions for any of the applications, an error message will appear stating: "Insufficient Permissions".
Auto Logout
Expired Token - There is a token that lasts for 24 hours from the last login. After this period, the token will turn invalidated. Therefore, upon establishing the first contact with the server, either by the user or by the system, the user will be logged out, regardless of whether the user is currently using the system.
It is nevertheless recommended that a preventative measures be implemented on the workstations and employee computers, such as a password-protected screen saver.
Only the Galooli Solution is affected by this, not the Galooli Mobile App.
Hard Validation - When a user is connected to the system, automatic validation is performed every 5 minutes to ensure their validity. If, within five minutes of the user's permissions being altered, the system automatically disconnects the user. The behavior is the same for Galooli Solution and Galooli Mobile App.
Session Timeout - In the event that a session timeout is defined in the organization, the user may be forced to log out. Only the Galooli Solution is affected by this, not the Galooli Mobile App.
Multiple Logins - When attempting to log in with the same user in another tab/browser of the same/different organization, the user will be forced to log out. The behavior is the same for Galooli Solution and Galooli Mobile App.
Organizational Renaming - Changing the name of an organization will result in the immediate disconnect of all users. The behavior is the same for Galooli Solution and Galooli Mobile App.
User Configuration Downgrade - When a user's configurations or permissions are downgraded, the user will be automatically logged out of the Galooli solution and the Mobile application. The following is a list of all actions that will trigger the system's disconnection:
The user whose authorization level has been downgraded will be automatically logged out.
The user whose tenant list will be changed from any to a short list or to a smaller list from the existing list will be automatically logged out.
At least one cluster/group is downgraded from the user's permissions from the list stored in the database - Permission Management | Clusters Permission
At least one organization has been removed from the permissions of the user - Permission Management | Organizations Permission
Multiple Logins
At any given time, the user may be logged in to the Galooli solution on one browser only. When a user who is already logged in attempts to log in at different browser/tab, the user will be disconnected from the system.
Regardless, the same user can be logged in to both the Galooli solution and the Galooli mobile application at the same time.
Multiple Tabs Usage
Different Galooli applications support the option of opening links in a new tab or window. By doing this, you will be able to open several applications in the same organization at once.
Please note that this option is only available to tools from different application, i.e., the NOC application and PRO application can be opened simultaneously in different tabs/windows, but it is not possible to open two different tools from the Manager application at the same time.
In order to open the various applications in separate tabs, there are two methods:
Method 1 - Click on the icon that appears in the upper right corner of each application.
Method 2 - Right-click the desired application and select the relevant option.
