Scalability for Multiple Devices and Users

Galooli’s microservices-based architecture ensures seamless scalability in both infrastructure and user activity.

From an infrastructure perspective, there are no limitations on the number of sites, devices, or equipment the system can support. The distributed nature of microservices enables efficient workload management, preventing performance bottlenecks and allowing continuous expansion without disruption.

On the user side, the platform is designed to handle an unlimited number of simultaneous users and actions. By dynamically allocating cloud resources and distributing system load across multiple services, Galooli ensures smooth and uninterrupted operation, even during peak usage. This robust and flexible design guarantees that both growing device networks and increasing user interactions are fully supported without constraints.

License Plan Type

The Galooli software solution includes a number of applications, features, tools, and menus. Each of these capabilities is available to customers depending on the organization's license type that defines which system capabilities will be available to them and which will not.

Please refer to the following link for more information - License Plan Type

Log-In Process

It is very easy and intuitive for the user to log in to the Galooli Solution. There are several ways in which you can log in:

  • Email address and password

  • Choose one of the SSO log-in options, such as Microsoft, Apple, Google, or Corporate log-in

Five incorrect password attempts will result in the user being locked out for 30 minutes

Users who forget their password may click “Forgot Password?” to receive an email to their recovery email and reset their password. More information about password resetting way is found here.

Multi-Organization Login

Users with permission to access more than one organization can log in similarly to users with access to a single organization, with a few minor differences.

  • Method 1:
Enter the email and password and, immediately after it (without spaces), add the & symbol followed by the target organization name - Arkadi.K@galooli.com&organizationname
This method logs the user directly into the specified organization.

  • Method 2:
Enter only the email address or use one of the available SSO login methods listed above.
This will direct the user to a list of all organizations they are authorized to access.

In this flow, an additional option is available: instead of selecting an organization by name, the user can enter a unit ID.
If the user has access permissions to the organization associated with that unit, they will be logged into the relevant organization automatically.

Availability and Limitations

Defaulted Applications

Once a user has successfully logged into the system, the system checks which application the user used last, and then navigates the user to that application if he or she still has access to it.

According to the user's permissions, the defaulted application will appear upon completion of the login process in accordance with the following hierarchy:

  1. The Panorama application will be displayed if "Panorama Access" is not disabled.

  2. The Manager application will be displayed if at least one tool of the Galooli Manager is enabled.

  3. The Pro application will be displayed if it has not been disabled.

  4. The NOC application will be displayed if it has not been disabled.

  5. The Apps application will be displayed if at least one tool of the Galooli Apps is enabled.

If a user does not have permissions for any of the applications, an error message will appear stating: "Insufficient Permissions".

Auto Logout

  • Expired Token - There is a token that lasts for 24 hours from the last login. After this period, the token will turn invalidated. Therefore, upon establishing the first contact with the server, either by the user or by the system, the user will be logged out, regardless of whether the user is currently using the system.

It is nevertheless recommended that a preventative measures be implemented on the workstations and employee computers, such as a password-protected screen saver.

Only the Galooli Solution is affected by this, not the Galooli Mobile App.

  • Hard Validation - When a user is connected to the system, automatic validation is performed every 5 minutes to ensure their validity. If, within five minutes of the user's permissions being altered, the system automatically disconnects the user. The behavior is the same for Galooli Solution and Galooli Mobile App.

  • Session Timeout - In the event that a session timeout is defined in the organization, the user may be forced to log out. Only the Galooli Solution is affected by this, not the Galooli Mobile App.

  • Multiple Logins - When attempting to log in with the same user in another tab/browser of the same/different organization, the user will be forced to log out. The behavior is the same for Galooli Solution and Galooli Mobile App.

  • Organizational Renaming - Changing the name of an organization will result in the immediate disconnect of all users. The behavior is the same for Galooli Solution and Galooli Mobile App.

  • User Configuration Downgrade - When a user's configurations or permissions are downgraded, the user will be automatically logged out of the Galooli solution and the Mobile application. The following is a list of all actions that will trigger the system's disconnection:

Multiple Logins

At any given time, the user may be logged in to the Galooli solution on one browser only. When a user who is already logged in attempts to log in at different browser/tab, the user will be disconnected from the system.

Regardless, the same user can be logged in to both the Galooli solution and the Galooli mobile application at the same time.

Multiple Tabs Usage

Different Galooli applications support the option of opening links in a new tab or window. By doing this, you will be able to open several applications in the same organization at once.

Please note that this option is only available to tools from different application, i.e., the NOC application and PRO application can be opened simultaneously in different tabs/windows, but it is not possible to open two different tools from the Manager application at the same time.

In order to open the various applications in separate tabs, there are two methods:

Method 1 - Click on the icon that appears in the upper right corner of each application.

Method 2 - Right-click the desired application and select the relevant option.
