Verifying the updated static IP address
Investigating technical issues
Parameters configuration test
System Access Procedure
Ensure the Gateway is properly connected to the computer and is receiving power correctly, according to its specific model.
In the Ethernet properties of your computer, please configure the static IP address of the computer so that it matches the Ultragate device's IP address range.
Control Panel >> Network and Internet >> Network and Sharing Center >> Change Adapter Settings >> Choose the relevant Ethernet network >> Locate “Internet protocol Version X (TCP/IPv4) >> Enter the following data:
As an example:
Ultragate = 192.168.100.55 (LAN 1)
IP address = 192.168.100.58
Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
Open any browser and type 192.168.100.55 IP (Port 2) to access the Ultragate gateway via the Galooli portal.
Defaulted IP:
ETH 0 Port 1: 192.168.1.11
ETH 1 Port 2: 192.168.100.55
Enter the following username and password after the Galooli portal appears on the screen:
User name - Please contact Galooli's support - Galooli Support Tools
Password - Please contact Galooli's support - Galooli Support Tools
Now the Registration process must be completed.
If this is the Gateway first time connecting to the platform, a Registration window will appear and must be completed.
The username and password that you should use to access are your Galooli platform username (Email) and password.
For global users please add the name of the organization after the username (Email).
If this is not the Gateway’s first connection to the platform, the Registration window will not appear.
However, Registration is still required for every new connection and must be performed manually as follows:
Upon completion of this process, the system will perform an automatic reset. Please log in again.
The username and password that you should use to access are your Galooli platform username (Email) and password.
For global users please add the name of the organization after the username (Email).
When the Gateway is properly connected, the screen should appear as follows.
Screen Layout and System Capabilities
General Data
Device ID
Device Software Version
UTC Current Date and Time
System Section
Status
System – Displays the host status, including the configured server URL and the RTU’s connectivity status
RTU Details – Shows internal digital and analog port values. I addition, you can see the last update time of the gateway on the right side.
Edge Computing
The Edge Computing is designed to enable autonomous operation at the site level, even without constant connectivity to a central server. It supports real-time, automated decision-making directly on the gateway, based on predefined rules and sensor inputs. By processing logic locally, the system can respond faster, reduce bandwidth usage, and maintain reliability even during network disruptions.
Parameters Table
A parameters table received from the unit installed in the field, including both analog and digital parameters.
Manual Override
For fast testing and configuration changes in Power Center, and for viewing data in Panorama Live View, the Manual Override tool is available. It allows testing configuration changes without physically activating the sensors.
For example, you can make the system assume that the Free Cooling Air Conditioner is ON=1 instead of OFF=0 (even though it is not in reality), in order to test the display in Power Center and Panorama Live view.
To perform this action, select the FreeCooling_AirCondition field, change the value from 0 to 1, check the V box, and then verify that the data is updated in Power Center and Panorama Live View.
Configuration
Restart Device – Required in the following cases:
When a new SIM card is inserted
After uploading a new parameter file
General Device Configuration
This section provides core configuration and status details of the RTU:
Host – The server URL the RTU is configured to connect with
Network - Network Data and Signal Strength
Modem IMEI – The unique identifier of the cellular modem
SIM Number – The ICCID (SIM card identifier)
Location - Real-time GPS data.
There are two possible sources from which the gateway location can be taken:Manual Location Lock
When Report Location (GPS) in Power Center is not configured, the unit location is determined manually using the Set Location / Request Location buttons. In this mode, the unit does not send its GPS location to the cloud with every report. Since the site location usually does not change and sending it repeatedly may unnecessarily increase SIM communication usage.
GPS-Based Location
When Report Location (GPS) in Power Center is configured, the unit location is taken from the GPS data, as long as a valid GPS location is available. In this mode, the GPS location overrides the manually locked location, if one exists.
Parameters File – Status of the parameter file currently applied
Version – Software version installed on the RTU & the image version
