Device Configuration
The configuration display defines the layout of the site and is used as part of the Galooli solution configuration.
There are two sections on the device configuration tab:
Layout section
The purpose of this section is to determine the correct layout of the organization. A layout is a method of correctly associating the information collected by the Galooli gateway with the system. It is crucial that the layout of the system be selected appropriately and according to the organization's requirements so that all the alerts and the display of data will function as expected.
The layout code is built from a number of sections, each section affects different aspects of the site. For example, “MICROGRID_GENERIC_OUTDOOR_OFFGRID_HYBRID_SOLAR_STORAGE”.
Code Part | Explanation |
---|---|
MICROGRID GEN IOT | This is the organization's prefix. Select the letters of the prefix relevant to your organization's purpose. TL = Telecom Site MICROGRID = Microgrid Site GEN = Generator (Elara/K2) IOT = Internet of Things. |
The second part of the code will include: The name of the project |
|
INDOOR | A shelter or office houses the different gateways, sensors, accessories, and devices on the site |
OUTDOOR | There is an electricity closet on the site that houses all of the gateways, sensors, accessories and devices on the site. |
ONGRID | There is a permanent connection to the grid at the site |
OFFGRID | There is no permanent connection to the grid at the site |
HYBRID | When a site uses several energy sources simultaneously, the battery is an integral source of energy and not just a backup |
SOLAR | There is a permanent connection to the solar panels at the site |
STORAGE | An indicator applicable to Microgrid sites that indicates the presence of batteries |
WIND | There is a permanent connection to the wind source at the site |
Configuration Section
The Configuration Section is divided into multiple categories, each containing relevant sections.
The purpose of this section is to enable users to configure the presence of equipment at the site and define various control options available at the site.
Selecting a category determines how the marked data is considered both in the display across different applications and in the calculation of parameters presented in system reports and dashboards.
Section: Dry Contacts
Section: Fuel
Section: Generators
Section: Global
Section: Grid
Section: Shelter X/Rectifier X
The table includes columns that allow users to mark parameters, along with a Layouts column that indicates which layout is applicable for each parameter. Some parameters also include Remarks from Galooli, providing additional information about the specific parameter.
