Setups

Via this tab the user is able to configure different data regarding the generator and vehicle's initial working time, distance, and other parameters.

Linked Units

In case a multiple gateways are required at a single site due to physical limitations (e.g., rooftop setup or distance between site components), the data can still be merged and displayed in the system as a single site.

To achieve this, select the primary gateway in the organization tree, then navigate to Configuration > Setups > Linked Units, and enter the unit ID of the secondary gateway.

Important Notes

  • When entering multiple linked units, make sure to separate them using a semicolon (;) with no spaces between the unit numbers and the semicolon.

  • When multiple linked units are defined, data from the last linked unit in the list overrides data from the others but, only for parameters that are also present in that linked unit. If a parameter is missing in the last linked unit, its value will be taken from the most recent previous linked unit that includes it.

  • When using multiple linked units—each connected to a different generator and both linked to a single primary unit for the purpose of reading data from both generators—it is essential to define the first linked unit as Generator 1 and the second as Generator 2. This configuration is required to ensure that data from both generators is received simultaneously by the primary unit.

  • In some cases, it is necessary to override only part of the data when using linked units.

For example, to prevent tenant data from being overridden in the primary unit, use the format [UnitID;-XXX], where -XXX specifies the data that should not be copied. For instance, -tenants means "do not copy tenant data."

    image-20250408-091225.png

Currently, only the Tenants and AWL data setting are supported.

  • The primary unit is “aware” of the linked units, while the secondary units are not aware of the primary.

  • The list of linked secondary units can be viewed from the primary unit; however, it is not possible to identify the primary unit from the secondary units unless a unique name is assigned to each secondary unit in the organization tree for identification purposes, or all secondary units are placed in a separate group/cluster within the organization tree. Organizing the units in this manner is the user's responsibility.

  • If there are two tenants and both need to be visible despite using linked units, separate tenant IDs must be used.

  • If the primary unit is disconnected, no data will be transmitted, even if the secondary units are active.

  • The transmission interval is determined by the primary unit. Even if the secondary unit has a different interval, it will send data according to the primary unit’s schedule.

Generator 1/2 Installation Engine Hours

When installing the generator on-site and connecting the Galooli gateway, the engine hours of the generator must be set properly

Vehicle Installation Distance

The distance the vehicle makes must be properly set when installing the Galooli gateway on the vehicle
