Grid - Total Energy Peak Hours [KWH]

In a peak period, the grid tariff is the highest due to the high level of demand from the grid customers

The calculation for each field follows the same logic as the global summary field "Grid - Total Energy", but it is specifically applied to the defined time periods (Peak, Off-Peak, and Shoulder).

Grid - Total Energy Off-Peak Hours [KWH]

During off-peak hours, when grid customers' demand is low, the grid tariff is the least expensive

Grid – Total Energy Shoulder Hours [KWH]

Any time other than peak or off-peak hours

Battery Charge Time by Grid - Peak Hours

Measures the total time (in hours) the battery was charged by the grid during peak tariff hours.

Highlights inefficient charging practices during high-cost periods, suggesting opportunities for cost reduction.

  1. These fields are calculated by analyzing the grid's activity and battery charging status for the corresponding tariff periods.

  2. The system checks each time span (from two consecutive records) to confirm availability.

  3. If the grid was active (Site Global Grid On Load = true) and the battery was charging (Site Global Battery Charging = true), the duration is added to the respective tariff period's total.

Battery Charge Time by Grid - Off Peak Hours

Measures the total time (in hours) the battery was charged by the grid during off-peak tariff hours.

Encourages efficient charging during low-cost periods, reducing overall energy costs

Battery Charge Time by Grid - Shoulder Hours

Measures the total time (in hours) the battery was charged by the grid during shoulder tariff hours.

Helps evaluate and optimize charging schedules for medium-cost periods.
