Summary Report Use Case

The Request

To determine whether the smart batteries meet the conditions of their warranty and whether certain batteries need to be replaced, your management requires you to send the following information on a regular basis:

  • A summary report that will show all the batteries whose state of charge is greater than 90%, indicating that they are overcharged.

  • A daily schedule report that will indicate which batteries are stored at a temperature above 45°C, which may result in damage to the batteries

  • A monthly schedule report which identifies which batteries state of health falls below 70%, indicating that they should be replaced.

The Solution

  1. Open the Galooli Pro Application.

  2. To display only batteries with a state of charge greater than 90%, add a summary fields to the summary report called "Battery X SOC Max” (X depends on the number of batteries in the report).

Once this has been accomplished, create a calculated field between all of the batteries in order to determine their maximum state of charge and filter it so that only results greater than 90% are returned.

  1. To display only batteries with a temperature greater than 45°C, add a summary fields to the summary report called “Battery X Temp 1 Max” (X depends on the number of batteries in the report).

Once this has been accomplished, create a calculated field between all of the batteries in order to determine their maximum temperature and filter it so that only results greater than 45°C are returned.

Save the report and turn it to a daily schedule report following the instructions in the following document.
