Stationary Gateway Configuration (Power Center)

Power Center is a Windows® based software and acts as the primary tool for configuring Galooli’s gateways, extensions, and sensors.

The system uses standard Windows features and styles such as toolbars, menus, and property pages.

Main features

  • Interface with Galooli gateways: Elara, TR7Z-K2, TR7Z-TR5, EX-20, EX-THE, EX 20-SSR, EX6I and sensors, DC meters, AC meters, and fuel sensors

  • Read the current values and settings

  • Serial/Physical upgrade/downgrade gateways firmware 

  • Change the ID for sensors: DC meter, AC meter, and fuel sensor

  • Serial/Physical configurations

 

Log-In Process

It is very easy and intuitive for the user to log in to the Power Center platform. Username (Email) and password are the same as those configured on the main Galooli solution platform -

  • Upon successful registration, you will no longer be required to enter a username or password.

  • If you are a global user, please enter the name of the organization after the email using &.

  • Users who forget their password should reset the password via the Galooli Solution platform - .

  • If you are unable to register despite recovering your password, you must verify that you have the appropriate permissions to access Power Center. The permissions called “Hardware Configuration Tools”.

Note! 64-bit system is recommended, but the 32-bit system is fully supported as well.

Misc Menu

  • Restore -  This button resets the structure of the screen in case changes were made

  • Administrator login - Login with your username and password as supplied by the Galooli support team

Services Center

Allows the user to change parameters in the sensor, such as ID, bound rate, and zero calibration.

Configuration tools

Wizard-based configuration tools, allowing sensor/device-specific parameters update, baud rate update, and other relevant parameters configuration

Explorer

Links that lead to tabs on the right (the sensor types)

  • Double click on the gateways tabs will open the suitable information in the center working area

  • Tools:
    Messages - After clicking this button, a page appears on the right side of the screen that shows the communication log of the gateway

Working Area

The visibility and characteristics of the working area vary depending on the gateway selected

Bottom Navigation Bar

The bottom navigation bar allows the user to receive an indication of the connection of the various units and define the form of connection to the units.

  • This section indicates the connection of the units via colors (red and green)

  • Active Device - Choose the relevant device. The “Power Device” option should be selected in case of connection to EX20ETH, EX20

  • Connection Via - Type of connection to the gateway (OTA or Serial). A voltage of at least 3.5 volts is required for the OTA connection.
