Site Generator Card

Site Generator Card

The Generator card illustrates how the generator is used on the site.

The Generator card will appear on the screen only if Generator_1.Configured is true Or Fuel_1. Configured is true, or Configurations → Generator 1 Running is true.

Main View

  • "On/Off" sign - green and "On" if the generator is running, yellow and "Off" otherwise. If the device is disconnected, the text will be according to Site_Global.Generator_unning (On/Off), but the color will be gray. In the status bar, a time counter will appear if the generator is running.

  • Alarms indication and number (for the list of alarms see Expand) - the color of the alarm bar will be the color of the most critical alarm.

    • Fuel Level (Site Global Fuel 1) - Colors for the fuel data:

    • Orange (urgent alarm) If Site_Global_Fuel_1_Low is true

    • Red (critical alarm) If Site_Global_Fuel_1_VeryLow is true

  • If Fuel_1_Disconnected is true, the disconnected icon will appear next to the Fuel Level title, and the color of the value will be gray.

  • Load - Generator1_Load_Power

  • Working Mode (Generator_1.Working_Mode)

    • Color based on Generator1.Not_in_AutoMode - (Urgent-Orange)

Expanded View

  • The fuel level, load, and world mode are the same as in the main view.

  • Control button -

    • The following configuration is required to be able to use the remote control option of the generator that is connected to a panel: Manager >> My units >> Choose the unit >> Configuration tab >> Device Configuration >> Section Generators >> Generator X Panel >> V

    • Clicking the control will open a drop-down with the options:

      • Engine Start, Engine Stop - Use the generator control panel to start and stop the generator

      • Auto Mode, Stop Mode, Manual Mode

      • Test On Load Mode

      • Transfer To Generator -This mode is relevant to the DSE Control Panels. The mode allows transferring the entire load to the generator when needed.

      • Alarms Reset, and Alarms Reset 2

      • Output - On, Output - Off - Use the Galooli gateway output to start and stop the generator.

After clicking one of the options, a confirmation message will appear as a popup. "Are you sure? The selected command will be applied to the generator".

Generator Autonomy

Generator Autonomy represents the amount of time a site can continue operating solely on generator power, until the available fuel is depleted.

This feature helps customers plan fuel reserves for critical scenarios such as prolonged grid outages, battery depletion, or unexpected power demands.

It also enables customers to identify cases of inefficient fuel management, where excessive generator use could have been reduced through better energy planning—optimizing costs and lowering environmental impact.
