How To Create/Edit Dashboard?

Creating your dashboard was never easier!

Our dashboard designer allows you to create a dashboard based on reports that you used every day so you can find valuable information to help move your organization forward.

To create a new dashboard, there are two main steps to follow:

  1. You will need to create a report containing all the relevant fields, units, and timeframes that you would like to appear on the dashboard.

  2. Creating the dashboard using the Galooli dashboard designer.

Below are detailed, step-by-step instructions.

Step 1 - Report Creation

  1. In the Galooli "Pro" solution, select the appropriate organization, cluster, group, or units about which you would like to obtain information

  2. Create a report that contains all the fields that you wish to convert to a dashboard.

  3. Choose the relevant time frame depends on the type of the report

  4. Save the report as a favorite - https://galooli.atlassian.net/l/cp/j0ZLzt47

  5. Click on the report, then click on the three dots and select "Visual”

4. Continue to the next step once the new window has been opened.

Editing occurs in the same manner as creating. A specific identification icon indicates that the report has already been designed as a dashboard.

Dashboards can only be viewed by the user who created them

Step 2 - Dashboard Design

  1. Make sure that you are using the "Edit" mode, which will allow you to create and edit dashboards

2. Select an item type from the variety of options presented on the screen as default or create a new item
type.

3. Each type of item presents different editing tabs. To view the different editing tabs, click on the item.

4. Choose the relevant data to display by reviewing all the editing tabs (Argument, Value, Summary type,
Format type, Filter, Chart Options).

5. You can move the different items on the screen in accordance with how you would like to view the final
display. Select a relevant item and drag it to the desired location.

6. You should repeat this process for all the items you wish to see on your dashboard.

7. Save the changes. In the case of creating a new dashboard, save it, and in the case of editing an existing dashboard, overwrite it or save it separately
