Galooli Solution Version - July 6, 2025

The latest version of the Galooli solution incorporates features that reflect our open dialogue with our customers and Galooli's desire to facilitate and improve the system's use. The purpose of this article is to provide information about the main features of this version.

Panorama Application

Battery Autonomy Display

Battery Autonomy represents the amount of time a site’s smart batteries can continue supplying power without external energy sources (i.e., without charging).

  • This feature helps customers plan site energy reserves for critical scenarios such as power grid outages, generator failures, and more.

  • It also enables customers to identify cases of poor energy planning where unnecessary generator or grid usage could have been avoided by leveraging the available battery capacity—reducing both costs and carbon emissions.

When is it displayed?
When the following conditions are met:
smart_battery_x.configured = True
site_global.battery_discharging = False

The Battery Autonomy value will be visible in Panorama Live in the following locations:

  • Main Site Status Card

  • Site Status Sub-Card

  • Table ModeSite GlobalSmart Battery Autonomy

How is it calculated?
The general formula is:
Available SOC × Available Capacity ÷ Site Load

Each element of the formula is calculated individually, considering various battery types and configurations.

When the batteries are discharging, the label Remaining will be shown next to the value.

Request Location Cooldown

We deployed a cooldown mechanism for “Request Location” actions (Panorama Live).
The mechanism prevents users from sending more than one request every 30 seconds.

Pro Application

Restricted Parameters

A new feature simplifies report building by displaying fields based on the user's permission level to the Pro Application, ensuring a clearer and more user-friendly experience. The feature includes updated viewing permissions for users, along with new visual indicators for the restricted fields.

Galooli maintains an internal list of fields that are restricted to users with Edit or Full permission levels in the Pro Application. Users with Read Only permission will not be able to view these fields.

Users with Edit/Full permissions will see a unique indication marking these restricted fields, which only they can access.

New Fields

  • Generator X Alarm Internal Oil Temperature - This field indicates whether the internal oil temperature of the generator has exceeded a critical threshold that could damage the engine or reduce performance.

  • Generator X.Galooli Operational Fuel - This field returns the result of the following calculation:
Galooli Engine Hours × Galooli Operational Fuel Consumption.

  • Rectifier X.AC Meter Input Configured - Indicates whether an rectifier AC meter is configured.

  • Rectifier X.AC Meter Input Disconnected - Indicates whether the configured rectifier AC meter is currently disconnected.

  • Rectifiers Assignment Rectifiers X - This field displays the assigned custom name for each rectifier.

Manager Application

Device Configuration Sections Changes

  • The “Shelter” and “Rectifier” sections have been separated.

  • The “Rectifier” section was renamed to “Dry Contact Rectifier” and now includes the relevant rows previously under the “Shelters” section.

  • Support is now limited to one rectifier for dry contacts.

  • In addition, several display changes were implemented.

New Device Type

A new unit type — Router_Device — was added to the system (My Units > Information > Unit > Section Hardware). In these units, the “Unit Version” field stores the router’s IP address in Galooli cloud (which may change when it disconnects and reconnects), enabling remote access and other operations.

Show\Hide IOs on Live Display

We’ve added support for controlling the display of IOs in the Galooli Mobile Application.
Until now, the checkbox in the IO configuration popup only affected the Panorama display.
Now, it controls visibility in both Panorama and Mobile App.

Additionally, the checkbox label has been changed to Show in Live Display.

My NOC - Activation/Release Delay Default Values

We’ve applied specific Activation/Release Delay settings for the following NOC alarms:

  • Location – Geofence Enter

  • Location – Geofence Leave

  • Fuel Drop

The defined values are:

  • Activation Delay: Default is 0 and cannot be changed

  • Release Delay: Minimum 60 minutes

Note: Existing alarms from the list above will not be overwritten. However, if edited, the system will require applying the new settings.

Ultragate Internal IO’s Configuration

A new feature has been introduced allowing mixed analog input configurations. Users can now set specific inputs to measure either voltage or current independently. For example, Inputs 1, 2, and 4 can be configured to measure voltage, while Input 3 is set to measure current.
To enable this functionality, the corresponding “Address” values must be updated accordingly.
