DSE857 Adapter - Preparation

Installation Preparation

Before you get started make sure you have the following:

• DSE857 Adapter

• USB A – B Cable

• DSE857 terminal plug/connector

  Open

  

• The power source of 12V DC to power the DSE857 Adapter

• Power cables for the DSE857 Adapter - two cables with a thickness of 0.5mm. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the power source and the DSE857 Adapter

• RS485 To USB Converter & two 0.5mm thick communication cables. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the RS485 to the USB converter and the computer

• Screwdriver (Slotted & Phillips)

• Electronic tools – screwdriver, multimeter, & f-crimp tool

Configuration Preparation

• PC or laptop computer

• Create a user in the Deep Sea site https://www.deepseaelectronics.com/account/login (Mandatory)

• Install the DSE Configuration Suite via the installation file you can find below or follow the link to download DSE Configuration Suite. It is necessary to have a login credential for the Deep Sea site in order to download and install the software.

• Power Center installed - Click here to download. Credential info can be received from your Account Manager or Galooli support

• RS485 to USB converter - Refer here for driver installation instructions.

• Project’s Wiring diagram - Provided by Galooli Support.
