  1. Connect the DSE857 terminal plug to the DSE857 adapter.

2. Connect the DSE857 to a power source of 12V DC.

3. Connect RS485 usb converter to terminals 3 & 4.

4. Plug the USB end of the RS485 converter into a suitable port on the PC.

5. Ensure that the device is recognized by the PC.
