Physical Installation
The LAN cable is used for communication and battery reading. One end of the cable has an RJ45 connector, while the opposite end remains open. Below are the LAN cable pins designated for RS485 communication.
Pin 1&4 - RS485 A
PIN 2&5 - RS485 B
Connect the LAN cable to the COM OUT port of the battery (the LAN port on the right). Ensure that the right-side connector is used to connect the first battery to the computer, while the left-side connector is designated for linking the first battery to the second, third, fourth, and so on.
Connect the RS485 communication cable as referenced in Step 1 above.
Device Configuration
Download and open the Huawei Maintenance Tool Platform.
Select the Language, COM port, and Device (Lithium Battery), then click Connect.
You will be logged into the battery interface, as shown below.
Note - By logging into the battery, you can view key values such as voltage and current. This allows you to compare these readings with the values displayed on the Power Center to ensure accuracy and consistency.
