Battery Cell Monitoring - Preparation
Installation Preparation
Before you get started make sure you have the following:
Battery Cell Monitoring Kit:
Battery Cell Monitoring HUB
Battery Cell Monitoring Sensor (2/12 V)
Battery Cell Monitoring Hall Sensor
There are different adapters and cables included in the Battery Cell Monitoring Kit
Elara gateway
Power source to the Elara gateway of 12V
Power cables for the Elara gateway - two cables with a thickness of 0.5mm. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the power source and the Elara gateway
Lead acid batteries
The power source of 24VDC or 48VDC to power the Battery Cell Monitoring HUB
Communication cables. Cables with a thickness of 0.5mm. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the sensors and the surrounding environment
Ethernet wire
Electronic tools – screwdriver, multimeter, & f-crimp tool
RS485 To USB Converter & two 0.5mm thick communication cables. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the RS485 to the USB converter and the computer
