Physical Installation

Connect the Galooli Gateway to the first battery, and then connect the batteries to each other if necessary.

The Module ID is automatically assigned by the master module in sequential order from 1 to N, based on the configured device count.

Device Configuration

Power Center Configuration

  1. Configuration Tab: This is where you manage and configure device settings.

  2. Add Serial Device: Use this button to add a new serial device to the configuration list.

  3. Modbus Device Configuration Window: This pop-up allows you to configure the details of the selected device, including:

    • Device Type: Choose the type of device (e.g., Smart_Battery).

    • Manufacturer: Select the manufacturer of the device (e.g., LG Chem).

    • Model: Pick a specific battery number from the dropdown list (e.g., lgchem_1, lgchem_2, etc.). Selecting the battery number affects the Virtual Device ID.

    • Physical and Virtual Device IDs: Assign unique identifiers to the device.

    • Communication Settings: Configure essential parameters such as:

      • Baud Rate (e.g., 19200)

      • Parity Bit (e.g., None)

      • Communication Settings: Configure parameters like baud rate, parity bit, and query settings (e.g., delay, timeout, retries).

    • Force Default Items: Check this to apply default settings.
