Installation Preparation
RTD Probe with Armored Cable for Liquids and Gases.
DWYER Temperature Transducer.
Power source for the temperature sensor of 24V.
Galooli Elara gateway.
Galooli Elara gateway power source of 12V (24V with DC to DC converter if needed)
Power cables for the Elara & temperature sensor + two-pin female connector- two cables with a thickness of 0.5mm. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the power supply, the Elara & temperature sensor.
DC to DC converter (24V to 24V)
Rubber-covered 470 ohm 0.5W 1% resistor
RS485 To USB Converter & two 0.5mm thick communication cables. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the RS485 to the USB converter and the computer.
Screwdriver (Slotted & Phillips).

Note! Make sure your computer recognizes the COM port at the “Device Manager”. Otherwise, install the proper driver.
Connection to Elara
Follow the instructions provided in the following link to complete the Galooli Elara gateway installation process - 1. Power & Connectivity (Direct to the Elara)ARCHIVED. Once the process has been completed, proceed to the next step.
Connect a 470 ohm 0.5W 1% resistor between Elara input 1 and input 2.
Connect the Elara input 1 via a wire to the negative power input of the Elara.
Ensure that the resistor is protected by a suitable cover
Connect the DWYER Temperature Transducer positive input to the Elara positive input.
Connect the DWYER Temperature Transducer negative input to Elara input 2.
Connect the RTD Probe with Armored Cable for Liquids and Gases to the DWYER Temperature Transducer
