The latest version of the Galooli solution incorporates features that reflect our open dialogue with our customers and Galooli's desire to facilitate and improve the system's use. The purpose of this article is to provide information about the main features of this version.

Pro Application

Calculated Fields

An extensive behavioral and visual renewal process was conducted on the calculated fields feature in order to enhance the user experience. In general calculated fields allows you to perform calculations between different fields that you have within the report you have created, so you are not required to export the report to any third side software. The tool allows you to create personal reports that are suitable for the organization and provides you with a great deal of flexibility

Public Reports

The feature allows users to set a favorite report/dashboard as "public" so all the organization users will be able to view it in the Analytics Center. Using the feature, the main analyst can share insights with his colleagues, and make seamless updates and version changes.

New X-Ray Fields

The Galooli fields list contains a new group named "X-RAY". This new group of fields consists of old fields that have been moved from the "Additional Info" group and new fields related to the My X-Ray tool.

 

Embedded Dashboards

Using the embedded dashboards feature, Galooli clients can display Galooli system dashboards as well as any customized dashboard on their internal platforms in a personalized and branded manner. Using Galooli, partners can access analytics and insights through a dashboard configuration and integrate them into their brand to promote their products and services.

Report Comments

There is now an option to create a comment in new and existing reports. Comments will be displayed in Panorama's Analytics mode and in the Pro application.

User Removal

In the upcoming version, when a user is removed from the system and he has scheduled reports within his account, these reports will be canceled and a system log will be added to the Audit tool.

Exported Date Field Format

When exported to Excel, date fields will be displayed in "Date-Time" format.

Manager Application

My X-Ray

In this version, a new and improved management and configuration tool has been developed for X-ray tables. As a result of this feature, it is possible to track configurations and remotely correct incorrect settings in order to prevent failures from occurring without physically visiting the site.
There are two parts to the tool:

  • My X-Ray - Provides the ability to create and edit tables for X-ray parameters.

  • X-Ray KPIs - Provides the ability to link the X-Ray table to different devices and view the actual X-Ray data collected.

Mobile App Push Notifications Configuration

With the upcoming version, you will be able to define that event notifications will appear as a push notification in the Galooli mobile application in addition to SMS and email notifications.
Adding push notifications to the mobile app will enable users to receive relevant information more quickly, even if they do not open the app.
To receive notifications, you must enable push notifications in the mobile application and in the manager application.

Temporarily Disable a User

A new feature has been added to the user management mechanism called “Disable User”. This feature will enable a user to be deactivated temporarily without being removed from the organization. In the event that action is taken, the following consequences will occur:

  • The user will not be able to access Galooli platforms. Upon attempting to log in, the user will receive an error message indicating that he has been disabled and should contact the organization's administrator.

  • Scheduled reports generated by the user will not be sent to recipients.

  • The user's automations will not be executed.

  • In the organization's user list, the user's name will be highlighted in red

Users with Edit/Full permission to the “My Users” module are capable of performing this operation.

Unit Name Editing

It is only possible for a user to edit the name of a unit if he or she has full permissions in the "Unit Management" permission section.

IOs Configurations Updates

We have removed the "Show Dashboard" column from the IO's configuration section. In addition, the "Show Map" column has been changed to "Panorama Display" which will take effect on the IO's display in the Panorama application.

Additionally, the above changes apply to the create/edit IO pop-up (for all types of IOs).

User Removal

In the upcoming version, when a user is removed from the system and he has automations within his account, these automations will be canceled and a system log will be added to the Audit tool.

Mobile Application

Push Notifications

There is now an option to receive notifications via the mobile app. In addition to adding value to the users of the mobile app, notifications will alert the teams when an event occurs so that response times can be shortened, and Galooli clients will be able to receive relevant information even when they are not actively viewing the app.

  • To receive notifications, you must enable push notifications in the mobile application.

  • The user will only receive notifications from the organization to which he is currently logged in.

  • When the application is closed, the user will continue to receive notifications.

  • The user will stop receiving notifications when he logs out actively.

  • The mobile application allows the user to disable/enable notifications to himself for all organizations he subscribes to.

  • Clicking the notification will redirect the user to the main/default story of the unit.

  • The notification and event configuration is made through Galooli Manager application.

  • All notification will be sent to the user according to his permission level

Apps Application

Generator Maintenance Tool Removal

The Generator Maintenance tool will be remove from the Galooli Apps application. The information provided in this report is already available in the Galooli Panorama application under the Generator Maintenance Oracle Dashboard.

SDK Tool

SDK Calculated Fields

The SDK service does not support calculated fields. Calculated fields in SDK requests will fail the request.

NOC Application

Remove Non-Certification Unit's Active Alarms

In the event that a unit has an active alarm on the NOC and its certification is deleted, the alarm will be automatically removed from the NOC.

Ticketing System Without Unit Site ID

Units without a "Site ID" will not be included in the automatic ticket creation process.

General Features and Updates

Tablet View

As of now, users will be able to access the Galooli solution platform on tablets via a variety of web browsers. As of now, Galooli's solution is only compatible with tablets in landscape mode.

Mail Notifications From the Galooli Platform

As part of Galooli ongoing efforts to improve security, all emails from the Galooli system will now be sent only from "no-reply.galooli.com". According to the mail server, this address is confirmed as a valid address by all protocols.
