Pinout Diagram
This pinout refers to the smoke sensor, which operates in a Normally Closed (NC) configuration.
Pin # | Name | Default Cable Color |
---|---|---|
1 | Smoke sensor GND | No default color (Blue in the image bellow) |
2 | Smoke sensor Power (+12V) | No default color (Pink in the image bellow) |
3 | Relay Power (+V) | Red (default) |
4 | Relay Power (-V) Connected by default | Black (default) |
NO | Normally Open (NO) Communication Disconnected by default | Green (default) |
COM | Common Terminal (COM) Connected to pin 2 by default | White (default) |
NC | Normally Closed (NC) Communication Connected by default | Yellow (default) |
Installation Process
Connect the power source to the smoke sensor according to the image above (Pins 1 and 2)
Ensure the relay is connected to the power source (pins 3 and 4).
Leave the NO communication cable disconnected (Green)
Make sure the COM cable (White) is connected to a positive power source (pin 2) to enable the sensor's NC mode.
Connect the NC (Yellow) communication cable to the Galooli gateway.
The installation instructions and image above are for configuring the alarm to be active in the system when the voltage is 0V and inactive when the voltage is 12V.
For reverse logic, where the alarm is active at 12V, connect the COM (white cable) to GND (pin #1).
