Linux Gateway – LAN or Mobile Communication?

Galooli’s Linux gateways supports both LAN and mobile communication.

Below are the different communication scenarios:

  1. Both mobile and LAN available – communication is via mobile network. The gateways are configured in a way to prioritize mobile communication when both LAN and mobile are available, this way the transmission between the 2 method is smoother.

  2. Mobile becomes not available, LAN remains available – the gateway will switch to LAN communication within 1-2 minutes.

  3. Mobile returns – communication returns to mobile once network is available.
