Installation and Configuration
Preparation
Galooli Gateway (Including an active SIM card).
Power source for the Gateway.
Power cables for the Gateway. Two cables with a thickness of 0.5mm. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the power supply and the Gateway.
SmartGen Geset HGM6120N Controller + SGUE485 (USB to RS485 Converter).
USB A-B cable
2 x 120 ohm resisters.
Screwdriver (Slotted & Phillips).

Installation
In the installation process mentioned bellow, the images and steps describe the Galooli Elara gateway installation, however any other Gateway can be connected.
Assemble the Galooli gateway and ensure there is a power source available and that it is connected correctly to the Gateway. Gateway Solutions
Connect the USB cable from the SmartGen controller to the SGUE485 (USB to RS485 Converter).
Connect 2 RS485 communication cable between the SGUE485 (USB to RS485 Converter) and the Galooli Gateway RS485 input.
One resistor should be installed on the SGUE485 (USB to RS485 Converter) and one resistor should be installed on the Galooli Gateway.
If necessary, mount all the devices on a din rail.
The Galooli gateway should be powered on.
Ensure that all devices are turned on.
Module Address Configuration
Open the iGMP6V configuration software
Connect the USB A-B cable between the SmartGen and the computer.
As soon as you return to the IGMP6 software, you should see a message notifying you that the communication has been established and a suggestion that you read the SmartGen configurations. Click on "OK".
Click on “Module” > “Module Settings” > Change the “Module Address” if necessary. In the event that additional settings need to be configured, please do so at that time.
If all the relevant configurations have been completed, please click on the "Connection" tab >> "Write Config" >> wait until a completion message appears.
Power Center Configuration
Open the Power Center (if the power center was already open, close it, and re-open it).
Log in
Open the “Active Device” drop-down menu and select “Elara”.
Open the “Connect Via” drop-down menu and select the “OTA” or “Serial” connection.
Your credentials and the ID of the unit should be entered.
Navigate to the “Elara” tab.
Navigate to the “Configuration” tab.
In the “Configure” tab click the “Add Port 1 Device”.
The “Elara – Modbus Device Configuration” window will pop up, select the “Generator” device and the relevant module of the “SmartGen” controller. Ensure that the physical device ID is - 10 and the baudrate is 9600. Apply the changes.
Click the “Write Configuration” button to save the changes.
11. Click the “Reset” button.
11. Navigate to the “Status” tab to view the status of the generator controller.
Galooli Solution Configuration
Open the Galooli Solution
Select the “Manager” Solution >> “My Units” menu
Click on the relevant unit in the organization tree
Select the “Configuration” tab >> “Device Configuration” sub-tab
Select the “Section: Generators” >> check the “DG X” relevant panel
