The latest version of the Galooli Gateways includes features that reflect an open dialogue with our customers and Galooli’s desire to facilitate and improve hardware usage. This article contains information about the main features.

  • Support for disabling “Cabinet Mode” sleep period: Setting both the In-Cabinet Wakeup Interval and Period to 0 will keep the device online indefinitely, functioning like any other device.

    • The minimum “Wakeup Interval” (if not 0) is 15 minutes, and the minimum “Wakeup Period” is 5 minutes. Values below these minimums will automatically be adjusted to the default minimums.

  • Tracking Mode: Regardless of the parameters mentioned above, the “Reporting Interval” is hardcoded to 1 minute. The Report Interval parameter does not affect this behavior.

  • No-Host Timeout: For normal operation (as in previous versions), the automatic device reset timeout is 48 hours. When the intervals are set to 0 (no sleep), the timeout is 90 minutes, consistent with other Galooli devices.
