How to check new alarms integrations?
Whenever news alarms are implemented for any device (Rectifier, Generator), it may be necessary to verify that the alarms have been reflected in the Galooli Solution Application such as Panorama.
If this situation arises, follow the steps outlined below to achieve the desired results as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Step 1 - Alarm Status (Device)
Ensure that the alarm is indeed active on the source device (Rectifier/Generator). As long as the alarm is active, you may proceed to the following steps to ensure that the alarm is displayed in the Galooli Solution.
Step 2 - Alarm Status (Panorama)
Locate the unit in the Panorama organization tree and, using the Live mode, locate the alarm from step 1 in its relevant card. If the alarm is found in Panorama, then there is no issue and the alarm is configured correctly. On the other hand, if the alarm did not appear in the Panorama, continue to the next step.
Step 3 - Alarm Status (Power Center)
In the event that an alarm does not appear in Panorama but is active on the device in the field, we will check the Power Center to see if the alarm has appeared there.
To begin, connect to the gateway over the air or serially in order to read the configurations and view the alarms that appear in the Power Center at that time.
In the event that the alarm is displayed in the Power Center, we can assume that the alarm is implemented correctly, however it does not appear in the Panorama due to Panorama internal configuration issues. If this is the case, you should open a support ticket. Galooli Support
In the event that the alarm does not appear in the Power Center, proceed to the following step.
Step 4 - Alarm Status (Cut Through)
In the event that the alarm does not appear in the Power Center, you need to make sure that the device is properly transmitting the data to Galooli platforms. This issue can be checked by creating a query of that specific alarm from the device, using Galooli's "Cut Through” tool.
There is a difference in the “Cut Through” process between rectifiers and generators. The following links provide documentation of the process - Galooli Cut Through Tool.
The query process concludes with one of the following results:
If no data about the alarm appears in the "Cut Through" process, then there is a problem with the device itself, and you must contact the device manufacturer.
If an alarm appears in the "Cut Through" process, but is not active, it won't appear in the Power Center or Panorama too. The alarm must be active in the device in order to make any conclusions.
In the event that an alarm appears in the "Cut Through" process and is active, but it does not appear in the Power Center, please open a support ticket - Galooli Support
