Configuration (Swan App)
Connect to the device
Download and open the “NFC Configurator” app (Only for Android) and place the NFC touchpoint of your Android device directly over the NFC touchpoint of the gateway. The NFC touchpoint is centered on the front of the device.
If the connection is successful, you will be asked to enter your password. The default password depends on the device variantis 0123. This default password should be changed later.
After the password has been entered correctly, you will be asked to reconnect and the main menu of the app will be displayed.

Configuration (Galooli Solution)
Open the Galooli Software solution and log in.
Open the “Manager” application >> My units >> Create a new unit or clone of an existing unit with the same settings.
Additionally to the basic configurations described here, there are some specific and important configurations that need to be performed for the Swan gateway.
Configuration Tab
You must write the correct layout >> under the Device Configuration menu, write "IOT_IP" in order to view the heat meter.
Overview Tab
It is necessary to start the Swan gateway “ID” with the digits 20 and to then add the eight last digits of the Swan gateway IMEI taken from the gateway itself or from the "NFC Configurator" application.
The "Name" of the Swan gateway should be the IMEI number.
...
Information Tab
In the "Unit" menu, select "Section: Hardware" >> The modem IMEI should be renamed with Modem IMEI, this field is the actual link between the meter and the Galooli server, therefore it must contain the exact IMEI of the Swan gateway IMEI. Swan gateway IMEI should be copied from the gateway itself or from "NFC Configurator".
...
In order to configure the heat meters click on the “Additional Information” >> “Category: Meters” >> “Section: Meters X” >> Fill the “Key” and “Serial Number” of each meter separately.
The In order to obtain the keys and serial numbers should be obtained from for the heat meters themselves, please contact the manufacturer.
Integration Test Suite
Unit Testing for Sensors and Data Acquisition Device
Test each sensor individually to ensure it is providing accurate and reliable data (analog parameters & alarms).
Check for any anomalies or errors in data collection.
Simulate a 'Sensor Disconnected' scenario and check for the proper indication from the system.
Local Communication Testing
Ensure that the data is transmitted accurately and in the expected format.
Verify that the data collection device can handle both digital and analog data.
Cloud Connection Testing
Ensure Data transmission interval are accurate by reviewing the logged transmission time (via Galooli Pro)
Ensure that the full data payload is identical to the data collected by the control ( compare controller reading with Galooli Panorama - Live).
Ensure that the device responsible for sending data to the cloud can establish a secure and reliable connection.(Galooli Panorama - Live)
Test data transmission to the cloud to confirm that the server is receiving the correct data (Check ECS logs via Kibana solution).
Error Handling Testing
Simulate scenarios where the network connection is poor or temporarily unavailable.
Test how the system handles and recovers from communication failures or interruptions.
Scalability Testing
Test the system's ability to handle the maximum scenario (MAX number of sensors in a given location) .
- Ensure that the data transmission process remains efficient and reliable as the system scales.
Save all the parameters
Meters ID Documentation
The meters ID documented in the “Information” tab >> “Unit” >> “Section: Administration” >> “Info 1”
Limitations
The Summary mechanism will calculate the period of time that has passed between two transmissions of the unit. If the period of time is greater than 75 minutes, the delta will not be taken into account.
Other types of units require a period of up to fifteen minutes between transmissions.
