Required Equipment & Software's
External AC to DC Power Supply for the Ultragate - 12V/2A (Included in the package)

Green terminal blocks for the different connections
Galooli cabinet tray/box set (Optional but advised)
Power source for the Ultragate Tray/Metal Box - 18-75v DC (In the case of a metal box/tray usage)
Computer with internet connection
Activated SIM card of a standard type or LAN internet connection
Two RJ45 (Ethernet) cables for the router and the computer. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the Ultragate devices.

Physical Installation & Configuration
By following this process, you will be able to insert the Galooli solution parameters into the Ultragate memory, as well as configure the Ultragate gateway to work with the Galooli solution platform.
Step 1
Connect the keyboard and the mouse to the Ultragate.
Connect the HDMI cable between the Ultragate and the computer screen.
Connect the first RJ45 cable to the “ETH0” and to the router (Provides DHCP Connection).
Connect the second RJ45 cable to the “ETH1” and to the computer.
Connect the Ultragate gateway to power.
Make sure that the computer screen is powered and the Ultragate wizard is in progress.
Click on the upper left corner >> “Terminal Emulator”
Type "ifconfig" in the "Terminal Emulator" wizard. The system will display the Ultragate IP address as a result of this action. Locate the IP address by scrolling all the way up and copy the IP.
Step 2
Download and open the "Putty" software, and enter the IP address of the Ultragate that you saved in the previous step.
You will be prompted to enter the following login information in a new window:
login as: root
root@192.168.1.5’s password: 123456 (the password is invisible).
Click “Enter”
At that point, progress will begin. In order to write a new command, you must click "Ctrl C"
It is now necessary to write the Galooli command at the location shown in the image above. Simply copy the command and right click it in the location (right click = paste).
The command:
sudo wget https://galooli-public.s3.amazonaws.com/usr/install-v0101-d120924/installer.sh && chmod +x installer.sh && ./installer.sh
In some cases, the system may display an error message that reads "Waiting for cache lock" indicating that the configuration cannot be completed. It is necessary to click "Ctrl C" again and type "reboot" in order to resolve the issue. Press “Enter”
Wait at least 5 minutes and then reopen the "Putty" software, enter the IP, the login and password, and enter the command and the process will continue. This process will take another 5-10 minutes. In the end of the process the wizard window will close automatically.
Close the “Putty” software.
Step 3
Open any browser and search for the Ultragate IP you obtained in Step 1 paragraph 8 to access the Ultragate gateway via the Galooli portal.
Enter the following username and password after the Galooli portal appears on the screen:
User name - galooli
Password - galooli
Click on the "Registration" button
The username and password that you should use to access are your Galooli platform username (Email) and password.
For global users please add the name of the organization after the username (Email).
Upon completion of this process, the system will perform an automatic reset. Please log in again.
Copy the Device ID
Open the Galooli Solution >> Manager Application >> Create a new unit with the Device ID you just copied. A detailed description of the unit creation can be found in the https://galooli.atlassian.net/l/cp/UP1dke1b menu knowledge document.
Once you have created the unit, ensure that you can see the unit on the Panorama application Galooli Panorama
Step 4
Once the Ultragate unit is visible in the Panorama application, you should start connecting the various devices & sensors directly to the Ultragate gateway or to the Galooli tray/metal box. Documentation regarding the installation and configuration can be found at the following links:
Existing Unit Configuration
Open the Power Center (if the power center was already open, close it, and re-open it).
Log in
Open the “Active Device” drop-down menu and select “Elara”.
Open the “Connect Via” drop-down menu and select the “OTA” connection.
Your credentials and the ID of the unit should be entered.
Navigate to the “Elara” tab.
Navigate to the “Configuration” tab.
Click the “Read Configuration” button.
Edit, add, and delete all the devices you require.
Click the “Write Configuration” button to save the changes.
Click the “Reset” button.
Make sure that you can see all the parameters from your sensors and devices in the Galooli Panorama application.
Internal Battery Installation
If the internal battery of the Ultragate is not connected to the gateway, follow the instructions below to assemble it.
Step 1: Take off all the terminals.
Step 2: Screw off all the screws (exclude the DIN Rail).
Step 3: Open the casing, crew off the 4 screws on the board.
Step 4: Disclose the 1st layer board, you will find the place showed below, which you could install the battery on it.
