Version 02.02.36

The latest version of the Galooli Gateways includes features that reflect an open dialogue with our customers and Galooli’s desire to facilitate and improve hardware usage. This article contains information about the main features.

  • Device Naming Change
As of the new Elara version, the names of the Elara groups in the Power Center will be changed to “Device" instead of “Elara”.

  • Linked Devices

With the new Elara version, it is now possible to configure multiple devices with the same virtual ID using the "Linked Device" option.

The goal is to build one device that will combine data from physically different components (for example, the battery voltage from one device that measures voltage and the state of charge (SOC) from another device that calculates percentage).

In the “Status” tab, the items of all linked devices are combined into one device rather than appearing as separate devices.

Keep in mind:

When connecting several components, there must be one component that is not linked. Data from the linked devices are added to this “main” component according to the following conditions:

  • Data in a linked component does not overwrite data in the main component

  • It is the main device that determines whether it is connected or not. Consequently, if a component of a linked device is physically disconnected, it will not be reflected in the system.

  • In the absence of a main component, the various components are combined in the order of their definition. Therefore, defining the main component is extremely useful.
