The latest version of the Galooli solution incorporates features that reflect our open dialogue with our customers and Galooli's desire to facilitate and improve the system's use. The purpose of this article is to provide information about the main features of this version.
Security Level Improvements
Wrong Password
Five incorrect password attempts will result in the user being locked out for 30 minutes.
Username Not Found
A new error message appears when a username/email that does not exist in the system is entered during a password reset process.
Manager Application
Session Timeout
New security feature for Galooli users include session timeout option, which will automatically log users out after a specified period of time if no activity is detected. A new organization will have this feature activated by default, while an existing organization will not.

Disable Inactive Users
This is another security improvement for Galooli users. The system will automatically disable users who have not logged in for a specified period of time, i.e., they will be locked out and will not be able to access the system. Any other user with the necessary permissions may release the user.
An email notification will be sent to the user if he or she is disabled due to the automatic mechanism.
This feature is activated by default in existing and new organizations.

APIs Restrictions
Via the API restrictions feature, managers with full access to the "Access & Security" tool can set the IP address from which all users can access Galooli's API services on a organizational level.
User Permissions Update
From that version forward, only users who have "full" permission to edit "My Users" will be able to edit other users' organizational lists. If a user has the "edit" permission or lower, he or she will not be able to view or edit the list of organizations of other users.

X-Ray Definitions Update
As of now, only users with full permissions to "Unit Management" will be able to edit the X-Ray definitions under the "Configuration" tab.

My Automations - SMS Service Provider
As of this version, sending SMS through “My Automations” tool will be done through the service provider defined for each organization via the Galooli Manager application >> Preferences.
My Automations New Function
In the automation tool, a new function has been added to the C# code module. The functions called "contains".
Service Logs - New Meter Fields
The Service Logs tool has been updated with a new section and new fields.

X-Ray KPIs

Lithium Ion Batteries Nominal Capacity
Each LIB section under the X-Ray Parameters group (1-20) will include a Nominal Capacity field in the upcoming version.
Panorama Application
Generator Time In Status
A new indicator will be included in the generator's variety of displays, indicating the time in status when the generator is running.
Address Data Updates
With this version, the vehicle unit's address will no longer appear in the "Events" display.
In the "Trips" display, the address will continue to appear.

Meters Story Design Improvement
The design of Meters story titles has been improved.
Generator Time In Status
A new indicator will be included in the generator's story, indicating the time in status when the generator is running.
Renamed Parameter in Rectifier Story
The “Total kWh” parameter (Rectifier 1-5) has been changed to “Total Load Energy” (for display only). Apart from the display change, nothing else has changed in terms of behavior.
Android Notifications
All Android users are now able to receive mobile notifications from Galooli mobile application. In the event that your user is logged in and you have approved notifications in the application, the notifications will appear even when the application is in the background or closed.
Notifications will appear on both the lock screen and scrolling notification screen.
Pro Application
New Summary Availability Fields
Two new summary fields have been added to the Availability section. The two fields enable the detection of issues with the unit's backup and external power, resulting in low data availability.
Backup Voltage - Max [V] - This is the maximum recorded voltage for the backup battery during the course of a day, based on the backup battery voltage [V].
External Voltage Availability - The time (hours) the External Voltage [V] was above 9V (fixed value).

Dashboard Designer Format Type Updates
The format type list has been updated with new options. Here are the new values:

Please note the following:
The currency will be displayed according to the currency defined for the organization, or the currency defined for the cluster (cluster definitions take priority over organization definition).
The units of measure change according to the settings of each individual user in the My Users section
When the format type is selected, the value returned from the report mechanism is not converted. It is only the mark that is added. Format types will not be validated by field types; that is, if a field is numeric, you can add any format type to it.

New Calculated Fields Function
In the Galooli Pro application, a new calculated field function called "Count Equals" has been added. The field is used to determine how many of the listed fields are equal to the value.
You may enter a textual, numeric, or date value.
Example: COUNTEQUALS (“Unknown”,[Smart_Battery_1.Device_Type],[Smart_Battery_2.Device_Type],[Smart_Battery_3.Device_Type).

Address Fields Updates
There have been significant changes to the address fields in the Galooli reports:
The field name has been changed to “Location”
Due to the fact that the field contains a link, it cannot be used as part of a calculated field, nor can it be used to create a dashboard (it will simply not appear in the relevant interfaces).
There will be no reference to the field in the SDK tool.
The field will not contain the address itself, but rather a link that will open Google Maps for the location. When exporting the report in all formats, the link will also be saved.

Schedule Reports Updates
In order to ensure the security of the information that is stored on Galooli solutions, we will not allow scheduled reports to be sent to users who do not have access to Galooli solution. The purpose of this is to ensure that irrelevant parties do not receive sensitive information.
Following are the consequences of the change:
For newly created reports, the only person who can receive a scheduled report is an active Galooli user.
An existing schedule cannot be edited.
Existing scheduled reports for non-Galooli users will continue to be sent as usual to all recipients. However, we will also cease sending them in the next version (14.7.2024).
New Summary Field - 'Generators - Simultaneous Operation [Hours]'
In the "Energy Efficiency" group, a new summary field has been added entitled "Generators - Simultaneous Operation [Hours]". The duration of time that both generators are operating simultaneously is displayed in this field. Since each generator should be able to provide energy on its own, this situation should not occur.

System Parameter Fields Orientation
During the creation of a report, the name of the group from which a field is selected will remain fixed at the top of the screen to help the user navigate and understand the fields displayed.
Load Based Consumption (Minor version 7/4/24)
In order to improve the generator X load based fuel consumption field, we have added more sizes for large generators - 150-500 kVA.
Apps Application
Grid Usage Report
The Apps Application now includes a new tool called "Grid Usage Report". This tool is designed to provide grid usability reports.
Highlights:
All Platinum-licensed organizations are eligible to apply.
Permission to view tenants is also a requirement (per user).
The maximum period for submitting the report has been increased from two days to 30 days
A copy of the report will be emailed directly to the user's registered email address

Attached File Max Size
The maximum size of a file that can be attached to an email has been increased to 5 MB. When the maximum file size is exceeded, a link to download the file will be embedded in the email.
