Unit

The unit properties tab is intended to set the unit's global data, such as its name, layout code, etc.

As well as other general information to assist in identifying the unit on the map, dashboards, and reports.

  • ID - This is the identification number of the unit in the field

  • Name - The name of the unit will appear on the map, dashboards, and reports. The name of the unit should be such that it can be quickly and properly identified

  • Description - A detailed description of the unit

  • Last Update Time - The last time the unit was updated (Editing this field is not possible)

  • By User - Details of the user who made the last update

  • Activation Time - Set the date the unit was activated. The information collected on the previous property will not be retained if the unit is transferred to another property/site and a new activation date is set.

  • Layout Code - This field represents the type of site. Describes the types of connections and information received from the site, their mapping on the server side, and logic based on those types

  • Stationary Units - If there is a property that is not moving, such as a site, generator, or refueling tank, the location will be frozen. When it is a stationary asset, the objective is to prevent small jumps in position. The stationary option is automatically selected if the layout is energy

  • Remarks - Open text for adding special remarks

Hardware

In the hardware tab, you can set the hardware definitions for the unit, asset, and SIM card.

  • Asset Type - Select the brand and model from the pre-set asset list

  • Asset Color - Free text to describe the color of the asset

  • Unit Type - The unit type of Galooli (Elara, Corona, K1- 3, Sparta, Sparta LIB). Detection of the unit type is carried out by the server and cannot be determined by the client

  • Unit Version - The server automatically determines the version of the unit and the client cannot determine it

  • Video Streamer - The optional field in case a DVR is installed in the asset. The fields entered are as follows:
    ser:gateway[:port],username,password[,proxy[:port]]
    eye:gateway[:port],username,password
    hik:device-ip[:port],username,password
    Or
    hik:device-id,username,password

  • Board Id - This is the identification number of the unit in the field (same as the ID)

  • SIM Phone Number - The number associated with the sim card attached to the unit

  • SIM Serial Number - The serial number of the sim attached to the unit. It contains a 15-digit number attached to the back of the unit. In the Elara gateway, the field is automatically overridden by the server to keep the true value

  • Modem IMEI - 15-digit IMEI number of the model attached to the unit.

  • Plate Number - Plate number (or serial number when applicable) of the asset

Preferences

It is a section that contains the user's different preferences.

  • Image - This feature allows the user to add a picture of the asset to assist in identifying it.

  • Minutes To Idle - It determines the period that the system waits before it considers the unit to be idling. Before an asset is considered idle, it is recommended that it receive several minutes of movement. As a result, situations where the asset is not moving due to traffic, stoplights, or other circumstances which should not be considered idle will be avoided

  • Liter/Hour & Liter/100Km - This is a preset calculation that can be performed by the user when there is no fuel reading on the unit. The following information illustrates the fuel consumption of the unit based on the user's assessment. Some of the calculated fields in the reporting mechanism are influenced by the information entered in these fields. This product is suitable for use in generators and vehicles

Notifications

Notification settings define the recipient of event notifications for the specific unit. Recipients entered here will only receive notifications for the configured unit unless they appear as recipients for the group or cluster level.

Those unit settings are not necessary if the recipient is already defined at the group or cluster level

  • Destination Emails - Add one or more email recipients for event notifications. Please note an email server should be updated in the system. Only events that are marked with email notifications will be delivered via email

  • Destination SMS - Add one or more phone numbers for SMS notifications. An international prefix is required. Please note an SMS service provider should be updated in the system. Only events that are marked with SMS notifications will be delivered via email

    To separate the e-mail addresses and the phone numbers use a comma or enter

Maintenance

The maintenance tab allows the user to keep track of the unit's maintenance scheduling. By adding the maintenance dates, users can track and be informed of the asset's upcoming license renewal, maintenance, and checkups. 

  • Next Licensing - Date of upcoming license renewal

  • Next Maintenance Date 1/2/3 - Date of upcoming maintenance dates

  • Next Maintenance Distance - Countdown of distance that requires maintenance (in kilometers). The system will count the distance based on the preset distance entered by the user in the preference tab

  • Next Maintenance Workings Hours - Engine hours that require maintenance (in hours). The system will count the number of hours remaining for maintenance based on the present engine hours entered by the user in the preference tab

  • Warranty Expiration - Expiration date of the asset warranty

  • Next Checkup - Date of upcoming asset checkup

Administration

The administration allows for free text information fields to be entered by the user per unit. Based on the information entered per unit, the user can extract reports in the Administration reports section.

Installation Setups

This tool allows the user to update the real values of the vehicle/generator if the Golooli hardware installation is performed on a vehicle/generator that has already been used. By doing so, the measurements will be more accurate and correct.

When you check the "Installation Setup" box, you will be able to edit the following fields:

  • Installation Distance - Indicate the distance traveled by the vehicle until the hardware was installed

  • Installation Engine Hours - Indicate the number of engine hours of the vehicle/generator until the moment of software installation.
