Before you get started make sure you have the following:

  • Battery Cell Monitoring kitKit:-

    Elara unit
    • included in the Battery Cell Monitoring Kit

  • Elara gateway

  • Power source to the Elara gateway of 12V

  • Power cables for the Elara gateway - two cables with a thickness of 0.5mm. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the power source and the Elara gateway

  • Lead acid batteries

  • The power source of +12VDC 24VDC or 48VDC to power the Galooli RTU (Elara) and the Battery Cell Monitoring HUB

  • Electrical wires

  • ETH Communication cables. Cables with a thickness of 0.5mm. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the sensors and the surrounding environment

  • Ethernet wire

  • Electronic tools – screwdriver, multimeter, & f-crimp tool

  • RS485 To USB Converter & two 0.5mm thick communication cables. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the RS485 to the USB converter and the computer

 Additional information:

  • The Battery Cell Monitoring HUB and the Elara are designed to be installed on a din rail

  • Download the Battery Cell Monitoring Internal Software (PBMS2000 Monitoring Software)
