In the event that a preliminary configuration process between Elara and the rectifier has already been completed, proceed to step 1.

If the configuration process between Elara and the rectifier is not required, proceed to step X.

  1. Make sure the Elara connected to the HUB and to the Power Center

    After you have configured the ID of the device, you can now connect the AC meter directly to the Elara unit as described in the CE Transducer CE42 Installation document.

  5. Open the PowerCenter (if the power center was already open, close it, and re-open it).

  6. Open the “Active Device” drop-down menu and select “Elara”.

  7. Open the “Connect Via” drop-down menu and select the relevant Serial COM port.

4. Navigate to the “Elara” tab.

5. Navigate to the “Configuration” tab 

6. Click the “Read Configuration” button.

7. In the Configure tab click “Add Port 1 Device”.

8. The “Elara – Modbus Device Configuration” window will pop up:

a. Open the “Devices” first drop-down menu and select “AC_ Meter”.

b. Open the “Devices” second drop-down menu and select “CE42.”

c. Choose the most suitable ring according to the size conversion ratio.

d. Input the ID of the sensor in the “Physical Device ID” & “Virtual Device ID” (according to the previous configuration).

e. Make sure the “Device Budrate” is 19200, as you set it earlier.

f. Click “Apply”.

9. Click the “Write Configuration” button to save the changes. 

10. Click the “Reset” button.

11. Navigate to the “Status” tab to view the status of the AC Meter.
