Voltage Balancing
One of the functions of the Battery Cell Monitoring Solution is voltage balancing.
What is battery Voltage Balancing?
A feature of the solution that prevents over-charge & under-charge of the batteries.
What causes an unbalanced battery?
During battery manufacturing, there will be some differences in the internal structure and material of the battery
During usage, differences in the battery temperature, ventilation condition
The inconsistency in the capacity, voltage, and internal resistance of batteries will lead to voltage unbalance
The battery cell with the lowest capacity is much more easily to be over-charged & under-charged. Its capacity will become lower and lower and get into a vicious cycle. The capacity of a battery string depends on the battery cell with the lowest capacity
What are the benefits of balanced batteries?
Prevent over-charge & under-charge of the batteries
Keep the battery in the best state
Extending battery life
How do I balance the battery voltage?
Through a couple of simple steps in the Battery Cell Monitoring internal software during the installation of the Battery Cell Monitoring unit.
Galooli Gateway Connection
Elara Connection
Connect the Battery Cell Monitoring HUB to the ELARA by Ethernet cable through the Ethernet Connector on both devices
