Pinout
The TritonK2 use a standard 12-pin harness as described below:
Pin # | Color | Name | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Yellow-white | RS485 A | Serial communication with external devices & configuration center |
2 | Green-brown | RS485 B | Serial communication with external devices & configuration center |
3 | Green | Input 5/ CAN-H | General purpose, negative digital input (active when connected to ground). K2 - CAN type - used as CAN-H input |
4 | Blue | Buzzer | Dedicated buzzer output, used for in-vehicle alerts |
5 | White | Dallas/Keypad | External driver identification device connection |
6 | Red | Power in | Power in (9-30v) |
7 | Orange | Input 1 / Ignition | General-purpose Analog / Digital input. Dedicated connection for Ignition signal |
8 | Brown | Input 2 / Panic | General-purpose analog/ Digital input. Dedicated connection for Panic button |
9 | Pink | Input 3 | General-purpose Analog/ Digital input |
10 | Grey | Input 4 / CAN-L | General-purpose Analog/ Digital input |
11 | Purple | Out/ Immobilizer | Immobilizer output control |
12 | Black | GND | Ground connection |
Notes:
All pins marked as Analog/Digital inputs can operate both as Analog and Digital inputs. Voltage thresholds for digital behavior are defined using the 'Configuration Center' application.
Negative Digital inputs have an internal pull-up, so 'activating' those inputs is done by connecting to ground.
SMS Commands
K2 gateways are capable of receiving commands via SMS for requesting the status of the gateway or set parameters to the gateway.
To send any type of command to the K2 gateway, you simply have to type in a message (SMS) in your phone and send it to the telephone number associated with the SIM card in the gateway.
Commands Execution
| Request Status Commands | Set Parameters Commands |
---|---|---|
Types of Commands | A request status command is used to request a report message containing specific parameter information without changing the parameter's value. | A set parameters commands used to set a specific parameter. |
Command Identifiers | The Request Status Commands ends with a “?” | The Set Parameters Commands ends with an “!” |
