The customized dashboard is based on a report created in Galooli Pro. Therefore, each dashboard can be based only on one type of report (asset/events/ detailed/summary).
Based on accepted standards, the data in the dashboards will be presented using pie charts, cards, and tables.
The data source section contains a list of all the fields that are included in the report that has been generated by the user. These fields will form the basis of the future dashboard.
There are three main areas/features in the data source section:
1. View Report - If you wish to view the raw data in its original format, this feature provides access to the full report the dashboard is based on. Information will be displayed according to the fields selected when building the report, the time period, and the selected units.
2. Search Bar - By using the search bar, you will be able to locate any specific field within the list of fields below the search bar.
3. Fields list - The full list of the fields selected when building the report. The dashboard is built based on these fields.
It is possible for the user to change the fields (fields can be added or removed, summary aggregation can be modified, and the time range can be changed). In order to do so, the user must save the design, and change the report. The user must save the changes in the report before returning to the dashboard designer.
