To perform the initial identification and connection of the Battery Monitoring components to the computer, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Battery Monitoring Software. You can use the next file

2. Open the “PBMS2000 Monitoring Software”

3. Connect the Battery Cell Monitoring HUB to power

4. Change the laptop ethernet setting to IP = 192.168.8.20, Subnet 255.255.255.0, Gateway 192.168.8.1

5. Connect the ethernet cable from the Battery Cell Monitoring HUB to the computer

6. Select “Connect” from the “PBMS2000 Monitoring Software” top menu

7. In the new menu click on the “Connect” option

8. Select the ‘Settings’ tab

9. Press the ‘Search’ button >> Choose the string number >> Save

10. Press the “Res Measuring” button and then “Manual Measuring”

11. Go to “Balance Setting”, and click "Yes" in the "Balance Enable" row. Afterward, write down 99.5 at the "Target Balance (%)" and 1200 at the "Balance Interval Time (s)”. Save the configurations.

12. Go back to the “Address Info” button and press ‘Save’

13. Close the ‘Settings’ window and press the ‘Read’ button to confirm all modules are communicating and with data

Note that the current value (A) depends on the status of the batteries and the system provides value only on “discharge” and “charge” status.

On “Charge” status, the system provides positive value.

On “Discharge” status it provides a negative value.

When the status is “Floating” or “Rest” status the system will provide a value of 0 (A).
