  1. Connect the Fuel sensor wires to the computer as follows:

    a. Connect the yellow cable from the fuel sensor to RS 485 “A” port
    b. Connect the blue cable from the fuel sensor to RS 485 “B” port
    c. Connect the red cable to a 12V DC power source – via terminal blocks.
    d. Connect the green cable to the GND – via terminal blocks.
    e. Connect the black cable to the grounding.

2. Plug in the RS485 adaptor to the PC or laptop

3. Open Power Center.

4. Open the “Active Device” dropdown and Select “Power Device.”

5. Open the “Connect Via” dropdown and select the relevant COM port.

6. Navigate to the “Services Center” tab and select Holykell HPT604 Fuel Sensor

Make sure that the Holykell HPT604 Fuel Sensor is the only device connected to the computer!

a. Click Next.

b. Change the sensor ID- Use the ID scan mode to find the current ID of the sensor (make sure the bound rate is 19200).

c. Click “Next“.

d. Change the device’s ID according to your wiring diagram - By default, the dedicated ID for a fuel sensor is 15.

e. Reset the calibration- Click the “Zero Calibration “– Please note, perform
this action while the sensor is in the open air, NOT in the tank.
