In order to access this feature, an organization must have a Gold license or higher.

My Allowing users to share reports within the organization without the need to share the report via email every time there are changes in the report/dashboard version.

  • The main use case is that a distributer or a lead analyst in the organization will share and update reports across the organizations, so "simple" users will get the analysis and insights without any action.

"Publishing" a report is an added functionality to the favorite reports feature.

As a guideline - the behavior will be the same as scheduled reports - scheduled reports are reports which are controlled by a single user and shared by mail, and published reports are shared within the system.

The feature allows users to set a favorite report/ dashboard as "public" so all the organization users will be able to view it in the Analytics Center.  

Using the feature, the main analyst can share insights with his colleagues, and make seamless updates and version changes.

Create Public Reports

The user must save a report/dashboard to publish it.

Add a new option - "Publish" in the "..." menu of My Reports:

The option will be available to click only for users with Pro permission = Full.

  • Consequently, only the report's creator can edit/schedule a published report.

Public Reports Display

The user who has published the report can view it under the "My Reports" table. The "Publish" icon will appear in the row if the report has been published. Unpublished reports will not have the publish icon displayed.

Public Reports Creation

  1. Create a report and save it.

  2. Locate the report under the "My Reports" section, select it, and click the three dots. Select "Publish".

  3. A pop-up will appear with information regarding the publish report aspects and the requirement to add a mandatory description to the report. Click on "Publish" at the end of the process. The report is now available to all organization users.

Public Reports Editing

The user who published the report has the following options for editing it:

  • Changing the report content (fields/dashboard items)

  • Rename the report

  • Change the report description

  • Unpublished the report - the report will not be deleted from the creators "my reports" menu, but other users will not see it anymore in the Panorama/Fleet application.

  • Any of the changes above (content/name/description) will result a change in the "Last Updated" value displayed in the card of the analytics center.

Public Reports Deleting

It is possible for the user who published the report to delete it. The report will be removed from the user's "my reports" menu, and the dashboard/report will no longer be displayed in the analytics center and dropdown menu.
