To ensure the proper operation of the Elara gateway, it is essential to perform the Elara IAP version update process according to the instructions in this document.
The purpose of this document is to demonstrate two methods for upgrading the Elara IAP version in the Power Center via serial (cable) connection and over-the-air (OTA) connection in the Galooli solution.
Serial Connection
Open the Power Center software
Select the correct serial com# in the "Connect Via" section
Select "Elara" from the "Active Device" section
Make sure that the status is “serial”
Click on the “Elara” tab
Click on “Read Configuration” and wait until the process is complete
Click on “Information”
Click on the “Status” icon
Click on the “Status” tab
Make sure the "Version" raw represents the current IAP version of the Elara. If not, proceed to the next section
Click on “Upgrade IAP Version”
Ensure that you upgrade the unit to the appropriate version and click on "Download Version"
Once the progress has been completed, close the Power Center and reopen it

OTA Connection
Open the Galooli solution>> Manager Application:
Click on the "My Versions" tool
Choose "Elara" from the "Device Type" menu
Choose the relevant version in the “Available Versions” section (Ensure that the IAP version is selected)
Choose the relevant unit\units
Click “Upgrade” and wait until the process is complete
