This document describes the ethernet connection between the Elara gateway and the Cerbo GX. It then describes the process for configuring the Cerbo GX.
A router with at least three ethernet ports is required for this connection to be established.
Connection and Configuration Processes
Ensure that your router has at least three ethernet ports.
Through the ethernet connection, connect the router to your computer.
Write down the IP address of the router in the computer's network configuration. Open any browser and verify that you are able to access different websites.
Connect the Victron Cerbo-GX to the router while the router is connected to the computer.
It is necessary to cancel the Wifi settings of the Victron Cerbo-GX. To cancel Wi-Fi settings on the Victron Cerbo-GX, click the following link-https://vrm.victronenergy.com/installation-overview:
Enter the username and password provided by the supplier
Make sure that the Victron Cerbo-GX receives a network signal from the router. "Last update" should reflect the most recent time and date.
Click on “Remote Console” >> Settings >> Wi-Fi >> Create access point should be set to “Off”.
Connect the Elara gateway to the router using an Ethernet cable

Make sure the Elara Ethernet port version is up-to-date - https://galooli.atlassian.net/l/cp/5fRL1DfX
Copy the Victron Cerbo-GX IP address via https://vrm.victronenergy.com/installation-overview:
Click on “Remote Console” >> Settings >> Ethernet >> IP address.Add the Victron Cerbo-GX to the Elara gateway. Verify that the IP address is the same as that mentioned in the previous step
5. Click on “Write Configuration”
Cerbo GX Components Configuration Process
Following successful connection to the Cerbo GX and configuration via the Power Center, the Cerbo-GX can display its components in two different ways:
The configuration of the “Cerbo-GX system" component provides a unified view of all the various components that can be connected to Cerbo-GX. It provides a relatively complete picture but with fewer data points
