The configuration section is the heart of the dashboard designer solution. In this section, the user can configure all aspects of the final dashboard, including how it will look like, which data will be displayed, and how it will function

It is important to note that the configuration of this section affects the section below it.

In the configuration section, you will find a variety of configuration and filtering tools. Below is a description of each tool and its behavior.

Edit/View Modes

The dashboard designer can be in an "Edit" mode or ‘View" mode, which can be selected with a toggle.
Using the "View" mode, you can only filter the existing items (Pie, Charts, etc.), but you cannot create or edit them.

The "Edit" mode allows you to create, edit and configure different dashboard items (Pie, Charts, etc.).

Dashboards may contain items of different types and more than one of the same type.

The items are used to display specific types of data, and based on the type of an item, configuration tools will also be available.

When you create an item, it will appear in the main items section of the screen.

  • Table
