Generator Fuel Management
Galooli’s generator fuel management and monitoring solution provides site managers with the capability to better manage their fuel expenses, compare between assets, and allow better decision making using reliable data.
Generator Fuel Management Hardware
Galooli provides support and sells a variety of fuel management hardware for generators. In order to learn more about the installation and configuration of these devices, please refer to the following documentation:
Generator Fuel Management Tools
Generator fuel analysis can be performed using Galooli dashboards, events, and reports. This section will detail how to use each component.
Visibility Over Fuel Data
Fuel management information at the organizational and unit levels can be viewed immediately and directly.Panorama Live Mode (A generator that is integrated into a site) - Site Generator Card
Panorama Live Mode (The generator is the only asset ) - Generator Unit View
Panorama Analytics Mode - Generator Performance Dashboard*

Generator Fuel Management Configurations
IO Configuration
IO configuration is required to set the fuel-related events and to display the fuel information properly in the various applications of the Galooli solution. The process is as follows:
Go to Manager Application >> My Units >> Locate the unit >> Configuration tab >> Under the ‘IO’s tab’ add new Analog
Provide a name for the IO and search for “Site_Global.Fuel_1/2” in the input bar >> choose the relevant calibration table >> mark the Panorama Display and the Percentage Display (if you prefer to present the fuel level in percentages)
If the fuel tank is the only tank available or if the tank in question is the main tank, select “Main Fuel Tank”.
If the tank is a secondary or backup tank, do not select this option.
Click “Apply” and “Save” to complete the process.
Device Configuration
Go to Manager Application >> My Units >> Locate the unit >> Configuration tab >> Under the ‘Device Configuration tab’ >> “Section: fuel” >> check the “Fuel 1/2”.
Select “Section: Generators” >> check the “Generator 1/2”.
Click “Save” to complete the process
Events Configuration
Fuel management events provide users with real-time alerts and notifications. Fuel events notifications are triggered immediately upon event detection to allow for quick intervention. All the information pertaining to fuel drop and refueling volume will be updated in the Galooli solution.
A detailed explanation of how to create an event can be found at the following link - Events
User can choose the desired notifications method when a specific event occurs:
Email
SMS
Push Notification in the Galooli mobile application
Any combination of the three
Users may set multiple events of each type and name them as required.
Fuel event types for user setup:
Low Fuel - Set in Analog Event with the desired threshold
Note! Low fuel level thresholds should be set in accordance with tank volume.
Fuel Drop - Set in Fuel Events
Full Tank - Set in Analog Events with the desired threshold
Empty Tank - Set in Fuel Events
Sensor Disconnected - Set in Digital events. Relevant only for fuel sensor installations
Sensor Reconnected - Set in Digital Events. Relevant only for fuel sensor installations
Refueled - Set in Fuel Events
Fuel events can vary based on the method used to measure fuel. The most common fuel event setting is as follows:
Low and full tanks should be configured based on the size of the tank and it is not recommended to wait for the tank to be too low before refueling.
