The map mode menu provides a graphic overview of your organization's assets, showing the real-time location and movement of your units on the map. In addition to providing a clear and graphic display of the selected unit's status, location, and movement, the map also provides information transmitted directly from the asset attached to the selected unit in real time. As a result, the user is continuously informed of the location, performance, and status of their units.

The use of the map is directly related to the use of the organizational tree that appears to the left of the map. If you click on a particular unit in the organizational tree, the map will focus on that unit. The colors and shapes of the icons in the organizational tree match those on the map.

Maps include an automatic cluster mode, which displays all units within a section with a number indicating how many are visible.

The map includes the following features:

  • The selection of an organizational level

    • Choosing a unit in the organization tree will zoom in on the unit's location.

    • Choosing a group or a cluster will change the map's zoom so all the units from the cluster/group will be viewed in the map.

  • Map View - You can switch between the satellite view and the map view. By selecting satellite display, the user is able to add labels to the map. By selecting the map view the user can add the terrain.

  • Eye Button - Provides different views of assets on the map:

    • Show All Assets - If not checked, the map shows only the selected units in the organization tree (if a cluster was selected, only the units that are in that specific cluster will be shown on the map).

If checked, the map shows all the units (no matter what level is selected in the organization tree).

    • Show Labels - If checked, the units' names will be shown under the icon. The unit's label will be shown if the user hovers over the unit, even if "show labels" is not signed.

    • Show Geofences - If checked, the geofences that are configured for the organization will be shown on the map.

  • Zoom In/Out - You can accomplish this by scrolling the mouse wheel back and forth

  • Address Search - A search bar at the bottom of the screen will enable searching for a specific address. If the address was found, an icon will be displayed on the address in the map.

  • No labels
