Network Cameras
This section provides comprehensive information about the network cameras integrated into our system. It includes detailed guidelines on camera setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. All the cameras integrated only with the Ultragate Gateway.
Real Time Video is a premium paid service.
The connection process is identical for all four supported cameras.
The only differences lie in the configuration steps specific to each camera system, as well as the address that must be entered in the Power Center.
This document outlines the shared setup process applicable to all camera types and provides references to the dedicated configuration guides for each camera model as needed.
Both this document and the relevant camera-specific documents should be used in parallel.
Installation & Configuration
Installation
The following two items are required for the camera installation:
Metal mounting plate
Cable between the camera location and the Ultragate gateway. For dry contacts, a cable length of 20 meters is supported.
Power Connection
Connect the camera to a power source.
Device Configuration
Once the configuration of the required camera is complete, return to this document.
Power Center Configuration
Make sure that, at this stage, the camera is connected to one of the following:
For Ultragate connection: Connect the camera to ETH0 or ETH1 on the Ultragate.
For router connection: Connect the camera to the router.
Open Power Center and connect to the Ultragate Gateway via OTA to start the configuration process.
Click Read Configuration.
Go to Configuration Left tab > Open the Group:_Device > Double click the “Network” > Choose the ULTRAGATE tab > Check the NTP Service Enable > Apply
If the connection is to ETH0:
Go to Configuration Left tab > Open the Group:_Device > Double click the “Network” > Choose the Network tab > Check the DHCP Disable option > Apply
If the connection is to ETH-1, this step is not required. Continue to step 5.
Go to the Configuration tab on the left side > Click Cameras > In the Cameras Configuration window, configure the camera details according to the camera type and the table provided below and apply the changes:
Camera type/model - One of the optional cameras
Camera name - Free text
Username - The username of the camera portal
Password - The password of the camera portal
IP Address – The camera IP address provided by the supplier or manufacturer.
Port - Enter the relevant port

The first row represents Camera 1, and so on.
Make sure that the port number is entered exactly as configured in the camera settings in the previous steps.
Verify that the configured camera appears under the _Network Cameras group with the correct IP address, port, and camera name.
After you applied the configurations, click on “Write Configuration” button and then “Reset”.
Make sure the user has permission to use camera streaming:
Manager Application > My Users > Locate the user and double-click the name > General Authorization > Check the “Video Streaming” > Save
To assign a unique name or description to a camera, which can help identify its location or type, follow these steps:
Manager Application > My Units > Locate the relevant unit > Information tab > Additional Information > Category: General > Cameras section > Camera X Assignment > Add the name/description > Save

Technical Notes
Video Delay: The video feed may be delayed by a few seconds compared to the live view, due to processing time.
Viewing Duration: Continuous video viewing is limited to 10 minutes per session.
Snapshot Logic
Cloud Snapshot Upload
The system uploads only one snapshot per minute to the cloud. This is not related to upload speed, but to the total number of snapshots uploaded. If several snapshots are taken within the same minute, only the first one is sent to the cloud.Local Snapshot Storage
Snapshots that are taken but not uploaded to the cloud are kept locally and labeled as “local.” The local snapshot storage limit is up to 500 snapshots.
