Overview

The overview tab is intended to set the unit's global data, such as its name, layout code, etc.

As well as other general information to assist in identifying the unit on the map, dashboards, and reports.

  • ID - This is the identification number of the unit in the field

  • Name - The name of the unit will appear on the map, dashboards, and reports. The name of the unit should be such that it can be quickly and properly identified. It is only possible for a user to edit the name of a unit if he or she has full permissions in the "Unit Management" permission section.

  • Description - A detailed description of the unit

  • Asset Type - Select the brand and model from the pre-set asset list

  • Stationary Unit - If there is a property that is not moving, such as a site, generator, or refueling tank, the location will be frozen. When it is a stationary asset, the objective is to prevent small jumps in position. The stationary option is automatically selected if the layout is energy

  • Remarks - Open text for adding special remarks

  • Destination Emails - Add one or more email recipients for event notifications. Please note an email server should be updated in the system. Only events that are marked with email notifications will be delivered via email.

Only Galooli users can get email notifications.

  • Destination SMS - Add one or more phone numbers for SMS notifications. An international prefix is required. Please note an SMS service provider should be updated in the system. Only events that are marked with SMS notifications will be delivered via email

To separate the e-mail addresses and the phone numbers use a comma or enter

  • Last Update Time - The last time the unit was updated (Editing this field is not possible)

  • By User - Details of the user who made the last update

  • Image - This feature allows the user to add a picture of the asset to assist in identifying it.

  • Activation Date - Set the date the unit was activated. The information collected on the previous property will not be retained if the unit is transferred to another property/site and a new activation date is set.

  • Unit History - The history tab connects the history of the replaced gateway to the new gateway.
For example, a faulty gateway has been replaced with a new one.

In order to do that, click on the + (Add Row) button to create a new documentation. As soon as a new row is created for the new gateway, add the gateway number and date of installation. All the data on the server (reports and dashboards) will display the new data.

The activation date should be changed to the earliest activation date after each gateway replacement in order to see all the combined data in the reports.
