Analog Input

Analog input embeds all the inputs which require a value definition. This can include fuel levels, battery power, engine temperature, and more. Analog inputs. In certain cases, such as fuel readings, analog inputs require a calibration table to effectively translate the values recorded from the input to values that can be analyzed by the user.

This tab is read-only. Edit your units using the "My Units" menu.

This will open the analog IO definition screen:

 Input – Enter the PIN number connecting the input to the Unit. Refer to the following article for more information.

 Main Fuel Tank – Indicate if the input measures the main fuel tank. If there is one fuel tank. Always select this option. If there is more than one fuel tank, select this option only for the main one.

 Name – Free text. Provide a name that will help to detect and identify the input.

Calibration – Calibration in ZONMAX is created by adding a calibration table into the system. Calibration tables need to be added to the Details tab. Click here for a description of how to add tables to the system. Once added, the table needs to be attached to the relevant input to help translate the data into figures which can be analyzed and deciphered by the user. 

To locate the correct calibration table, click on the magnifying glass and search for the table already uploaded to the system. 

Calibration tables can be copied by right-clicking on the table and clicking Copy.

 Show on Map – Select to display the input values in the data box on the map (The green data box)

 Show on Dashboard – Select to display the input values in the Panel display (Live Display Menu - Relevant to fleet/batteries only)

Percentage Display – Display values as percentages (The green data box)
