The availability time is calculated by accumulating the time between records where the relevant asset was connected. The time will be accumulated only if the time difference between the subsequent records is less than 15** minutes. In addition, if the calculated availability value is larger than the Data Availability value, the value will be assigned to the Data Availability value.

Field Name

Field Description

Calculation Method

Fuel X

Total hours the fuel sensor was connected

Based on records where Site_Global.Fuel_X_Discconected = No

Generator X

Total hours the generator panel was connected

Based on records where Generator_X.Disconnected = No

Unit Offline

Total hours data was not collected

24 hours - Data Availability hours

Smart Batteries Availability Avg.*

Total hours the lithium-ion batteries were connected on average (sum of all batteries availability time divided by the number of batteries)

The availability for each battery is calculated based on records where Smart_Battery_X_Disconnected = No

Ex20 Availability Avg.*

Total hours the extension devices were connected on average (sum of all extensions availability time divided by the number of extensions)

The availability for each extension is calculated based on records where Site_Global.EX20_X_Discconected = No

Ex20 ETH Availability Avg.*

Total hours the ETH extension was connected in average

Data Availability

Total hours data was collected. Data availability can be larger than online availability if the unit was offline but still collected information, and sent the information when the connection was back.

For “Swan” gateways the summary mechanism will calculate the period of time that has passed between two transmissions of the unit. If the period of time is greater than 75 minutes, the delta will not be taken into account.
Other types of units require a period of up to fifteen minutes between transmissions.

Based on the time between subsequent records, with the time difference limit described in the general group description at the beginning of these documents.

Online Availability

Total hours the site was online and passed data to the server

Based on records where Log = No

Tenant X

Total hours the tenant’s meter was connected

Based on records where Colo_Meter_X.Disconnected = No

Rectifier X

Total hours the rectifier’s panel was connected

Based on records where Rectifier_X.Disconnected = No

Backup Voltage - Max [V]

This is the maximum recorded voltage for the backup battery during the course of a day, based on the backup battery voltage [V].

External Voltage Availability

The time (hours) the External Voltage [V] was above 9V (fixed value).

*Zeros are ignored in the calculation of averaged fields

**For Kentrox units, the time between subsequent records will be accumulated only if the time difference is less than 30 minutes.
