The latest version of the Elara Gateway includes features that reflect an open dialogue with our customers and Galooli’s desire to facilitate and improve hardware usage. This article contains information about the main features.
In this version, the Elara gateway will support the use of Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) instead of the cellular network's default servers.
This function should not be used unless there is an extremely compelling reason to do so (for example, an access point that does not maintain a DNS server properly).
