Instructions

  1. Connect the Cabinet Tray to a power source via Main Input Fuse.

(warning) The (plus) should be connected to the red part and the (minus) should be connected to the black part. If the connection is made the other way around, it will cause a short circuit and can be very dangerous.

2. Open the Elara cover and make sure the SD Card is properly inserted.

Each unit should be fitted with an SD Card, on which all the configuration files of the Elara and the connected devices & sensor, will be on.

Place the SD card inside its designated slot, as shown in the pictures:

3. Make sure the SIM card s properly inserted.

Each unit should be fitted with a Nano SIM card (12.3mm x 8.8mm) which will enable cellular data communication between the Elara and Galooli cloud servers.

Insert the SIM into the device until you hear a click

4. Connect the backup battery (if it is not coming from the factory connected). Close the Elara cover at the end of the process.

5. Connect the green connectors to the Elara, this will supply power, and grounding, and extend its inputs to the gray terminal.

6. Connect the GSM antenna to its dedicated socket.

7. Make sure the Status LEDs are blinking as follows:

  • Status 1 LED is blinking Green color, one short blink every ~1 second

  • Status 2 LED is blinking Green color, short blinks

  • COM (Modem) LED is blinking fast, short blinks

8. If all three conditions are met proceed to the next configuration step - How to configure APN & Cloud Server.

Simple Troubleshooting

  • If the Status 1 LED isn’t blinking at all, it means the Elara isn’t getting power - please make sure the green connectors are correctly connected.

  • If the Status 2 LED blinks fast red color, it means the SD card isn’t inserted - Please see how to solve it here - How to insert an SD card?

  • If the Status 2 LED blinks slow red color, it means the configuration files on the SD card are missing/corrupted - Please see how to solve it here - How to import Elara files to the SD card?

  • If COM LED is blinking red color, it means there is no connection to the cloud server, please see how to solve it here - link
