A power issue (no LEDs are blinking)

  1. Make sure the positive wire is connected to pin 7 and the negative wire is connected to pin 8

  2. Verify the power supply is 12v DC

  3. Verify on the AC meter side the power supply is available (verify cable is ok and not broken)

A communication issue with RS485 (AC connected directly to a computer)

  1. Verify A and B connections are not upside down

  2. Verify the cable is ok and not broken at some point or too long (up to 15 meters)

  3. Verify baud rate is 19200 (scan with 9600 to verify it is not the issue)

No Communication to Power Center (Elara connected but AC meter display as “not connected”)

  1. Verify on the AC meter side the power supply is available and the LED are blinking

  2. Verify the cable is ok and not broken at some point or too long (up to 15 meters)

  3. Verify that Port 1 on the Elara is HOST

AC Meter Display Negative Current Value and Power Factor Is Negative

  1. Change the faze direction according to the wiring diagram

AC Meter Displays a Wrong Voltage

  1. Verify the voltage L1 and Current L1 are both on L1 (same for L2 and L3)

  2. Verify Neutral is connected to pin 4 on the faze side
