To perform the initial identification and connection of the Battery Monitoring components to the computer, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Battery Monitoring monitoring Software. You can use the next file

2. Open the “PBMS2000 Monitoring Software”

3. Connect the Battery Monitoring hub to power

4. Change the laptop ethernet setting to IP = 192.168.8.20, Subnet 255.255.255.0, Gateway 192.168.8.1

5. Connect the ethernet cable from the Battery Monitoring hub to the computer

6. Select “Connect” from the “PBMS2000 Monitoring Software” top menu

7. In the new menu click on the “Connect” option

8. Select the ‘Settings’ tab

9. Press the ‘Search’ button

9. Press the ‘Save’ button

10. Close the ‘Settings’ window and press the ‘Read’ button to confirm all modules are communicating and with data
